EPCRA Reporting

An overview of various EPCRA reports that may apply to your facility.

EPCRA was created to help communities plan for chemical emergencies. It also requires industry to report on the storage, use and releases of hazardous substances to federal, state, and local governments. EPCRA requires state and local governments, and Indian tribes to use this information to prepare their community from potential risks.

This course will provide you with a guiding overview of key sections of EPCRA and introduce you to the following reports and notifications:

Sections 301 to 303 – Emergency Planning

Section 304 – Emergency Notification

Sections 311 and 312 – Community Right to Know Requirements (sometimes referred to as Tier II and SDS reporting)

Section 313 – Toxic Release Inventory Reporting (sometimes referred to as Form R reporting)

Jackie Baxley, a professional engineer, has over 19 years of experience as an environmental engineering and risk management consultant specializing in the areas of environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance. As the EHS Practice Leader, her responsibilities include fostering operational performance to a project and management staff of engineers and scientists. Throughout her career, Jackie has developed a strong working knowledge of the principle federal and state EHS laws and regulations including environmental permitting, waste management, water and stormwater management, chemical and hazard management, and employee health and safety. Jackie is well known as a compliance trainer and has developed training courses delivered in person and online. She also has extensive experience in developing and guiding companies in management systems such as various International Standards Organization (ISO) standards. By understanding client's needs and goals, she has been a resourceful liaison and partner to a long list of clients in a variety of business sectors including Higher Education, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Chemical Manufacturing, Petroleum Marketing, Financial Institutions, Developers and Attorneys.
