Asbestos Awareness

Two-hour Awareness Training for Class IV Asbestos Workers

In this course, we will discuss the regulations pertaining to asbestos and provide an asbestos awareness for maintenance and housekeeping personnel working in areas where asbestos may be present. Specifically, the objective of this course is to provide you with a better understanding of:

  • What is Asbestos
  • What are the Health Effects Associated with Asbestos
  • What are the Methods of Recognizing Asbestos
  • What are the Potential Exposure Mechanisms and Controls

This course will satisfy the OSHA requirement of 2 hour awareness training provided on an annual basis to for employees performing Class IV operations (i.e. maintenance and custodial activities during which employees contact but do not disturb ACM or PACM and activities that clean up dust, waste and debris resulting from Class I, II and III activities).

Course Time: 120 minutes

Kent is responsible for the technical support and management of staff engineers, scientists and geologists, as well as to direct the company’s business development in the Southeastern Regional States. Kent is a Certified Asbestos Inspector in several states including FL, MS, WV, AL and TN. He currently manages our Tampa, FL office.
