EPCRA Reporting

An overview of various EPCRA reports that may apply to your facility.

EPCRA was created to help communities plan for chemical emergencies. It also requires industry to report on the storage, use and releases of hazardous substances to federal, state, and local governments. EPCRA requires state and local governments, and Indian tribes to use this information to prepare their community from potential risks.

This course will provide you with a guiding overview of key sections of EPCRA and introduce you to the following reports and notifications:

Sections 301 to 303 – Emergency Planning

Section 304 – Emergency Notification

Sections 311 and 312 – Community Right to Know Requirements (sometimes referred to as Tier II and SDS reporting)

Section 313 – Toxic Release Inventory Reporting (sometimes referred to as Form R reporting)

Course Time: Approximately 80 minutes
